Are Bicycle Helmets Worth the Cost and Look?

October 14, 2019 By Friends of the Musketawa Trail

We came across a good article about bicycle injuries and what bicycle helmets can do. We had a fellow volunteer (youth center) suggest this post because of some research one of the kids did on protecting your head. The Friends of the Musketawa Trail highly encourages bicyclists to use helmets whenever they are riding (trails, road, or where ever).

Please click on the link below to read some important information regarding bike helmets and head injuries:

Is a Helmet Worth It? How Brain Injuries Affect Different Body Functions

There are many different options (style, color, etc.) for bicycle helmets today. We suggest that you visit your local bike shop to ask an employee what’s right for you (and your head).

We hope that you enjoy the Musketawa Trail and enjoy it SAFELY!
